COLGELEX™ 1000 is a specialized collagen extraction aid enzyme formulation developed to support efficient recovery of collagen and gelatin from skins, hides, bones, frames, connective tissue, and other collagen-rich by-products. The formulation is built around carefully selected protease enzyme families used in animal protein processing—primarily alkaline proteases (subtilisin-type serine endopeptidases) and neutral proteases (metalloproteases)—optimized for controlled action during collagen pre-treatment and extraction stages.
